7 Mental Patterns To Change If You Wish To Attract Abundance And Prosperity

3. I Don’t Deserve This

Many people tend to practice self limiting beliefs and thought patterns such as “I don’t deserve this”. And, without a doubt, with the Law of Attraction at work, you WILL attract this reality into your life, and it will become a self fulfilling prophecy. Subconsciously, you will build barriers to prevent yourself from attaining this something, and even if it came to you, you would probably find some way to sabotage yourself and get rid of it.

Here, you need to constantly tell yourself that you are a creation of God. If God IS abundance, surely then you, who was created by Abundance, deserve a slice of the abundant pie, too? Tell yourself, and always remind yourself, that you are worthy and deserving, and let God’s grace and abundance flow into your life.

4. I’m Not Good Enough. I Lack The Necessary Talent And Ability

Another self limiting belief which is commonly held is the notion that we are not good enough, that we lack the needed talents and abilities. But Dyer tells us that it is what we think that is more important than the abilities we possess. “Your inner vision will trump your innate talent every time,” he tells us.

First and foremost, you must stop giving yourself excuses that you lack talent. Then, you “create an inner picture of attracting prosperity“, and “act as if by being what you desire.” In other words, by holding a picture of a talented you in your head, you could actually quite miraculously improve your talents. By aligning your thought patterns toward that talented you, you could actually attract the necessary elements into your life – the right situations, the right opportunities, etc. Again, it’s the Law of Attraction at work.

Do you agree with Dyer? It would be easy to assume that it is impossible to improve talents or to create them out of thin air. But with the wonder that is the Law of Attraction, who knows? It’s certainly worth a try.

5. I’ve Been Unlucky

Do you think that you have been unlucky? Do you think Life has dealt you a poor deck?

“Nothing happens until something moves.” – Albert Einstein

Dyer tells us that the Universe we live in operates on energy alone. Everything is energy, and everything is moving, even things which seem still. Our thoughts are energy vibrations, too. Whatever “happens” to you is not a case of bad luck and good luck – it’s simply a “vibrational match”, a collision of sorts. You were there, someone else was there, and you guys met.

He tells us that, if we learn to look at the world this way, as supposed to the good-luck-and-bad-luck perspective, we will begin to have more choices with regard to what we are matching up with. Keep your eyes, and your thoughts, focused on the things that you do want, that you do desire.
