Friendship Crafts Can Make Wonderful Homemade Gifts For Friends

If your friends aren’t into crafts, then you could do the work for them by knitting or crocheting an afghan for them or making a scrapbook and filling it with reminders of memories you share. Another idea for a friendship craft would be to either sew, knit or crochet a small pocketbook for the circle of friends. The bag could be the same design and in different colors to suit each recipient, or you could make them all the same and use them when you all get together.

Younger crafters might like to try making a Friendship Bracelet from yarn, colored string or embroidery floss. These can be made in a few minutes from instructions found here. Colored beads or alphabet beads used to spell out the recipient’s name can be added to make the bracelets a little more special.

Children can learn friendship crafts by making bookmarks for their friends from strips of colored heavy card 1″ wide by 6″ long and decorating them with felt tip pens, stickers and whatever else takes their fancy. Punch a hole in the bottom of the bookmark and add a colored ribbon to hang out of the bottom of the book. These bookmarks are easily made and a great Friend’s Day gift for their friends at school or playschool.

Whichever friendship craft you choose to make, you can be sure that your friends will appreciate the thought behind the gift; and hopefully they’ll return the favor and present you with a friendship craft that they’ve made for you.
