Positive Self Affirmations Can Change Your Life And Make Your Dreams Come True

It’s important that your affirmations are composed of short phrases, such as “I am intelligent”, not “I am smart enough to pass this exam”. Although the latter is applicable, it’s also a little cumbersome and may be hard to repeat out loud without attracting unwanted attention. It’s so much simpler to chant under your breath, “I am intelligent.” Just make sure that you don’t return to negative thoughts when you are finished with your positive self affirmation; try to keep your mood upbeat throughout the day.

How does self affirmation work? It works by convincing your brain that what you are telling it is true. Your brain can’t always differentiate between what is real and what isn’t, so the more you chant your affirmation, the more the brain will believe it to be true. You are basically declaring to the universe that this is how it IS – not how it may become at some time in the future – but how it is NOW.

Some positive self affirmations are listed below:

I am happy
I am thin
I am wealthy
I am healthy
I am energetic
I am intelligent
I am calm
I am loved
I love my job / boss
I love my home / partner
I am strong
I am brave
I forgive myself for everything
I take action
People like me

You get the idea. Just keep it short and totally positive. Repeat your self affirmation several times a day or set aside a few minutes two or three times a day in a relaxed atmosphere and chant the words out loud. If you believe it to be so, then it will be.
