Finding Balance Between Your Dreams And Your Daily Life

You, and your life, are not defined by your daily living habits. You need to focus your thoughts on your dreams, about the life that you really want, in order to give them the energy which they need; do not allow yourself to lapse into thinking patterns such as how difficult something will be, or how many insurmountable obstacles there are in your path.

The energy which you send out to the Universe will ensure that the right circumstances to fulfill your dreams – be they the right people, the needed finances, etc – will enter your life.

It’s perhaps a little like being lost in the humongous desert, with no map, no compass and no idea where you are or where you are going. However, as long as you keep your eyes transfixed on a particular star, one which represents your dreams, and keep going in that general direction, you will reach where you want to be, although you’re not quite sure how or when.

“Far away in the sunshine are my highest inspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see the beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead..” – Louisa May Alcott

“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” – Oscar Wilde

Do not let nay-sayers or your current circumstances deter you. The more you feel that you are in this world for a particular purpose, the more you need to feed the energy to make this dream come true.

Let me sum up this article with two more of Wayne Dyer‘s statements in the book.

“What you’re doing as you get your life balanced with your dream is beginning to co-create your life”.

“It is in the contemplation of this power that you actually acquire this power.”

And, finally, a quote from Jesus of Nazareth: “Believe that you shall receive and you shall receive.”

A few quotes on wants and dreams

“Want is a growing giant whom the coat of Have was never large enough to cover.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird sleeps in the egg; and in the highest vision of the soul, a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities. . .” – James Allen

“True imagination is not fanciful daydreaming; it is fire from heaven.” – Ernest Holmes
